I was told that curling irons and flat irons are allowed onboard and they will not be confiscated that came from the Manager of Consumer. With the danger of fire on cruise ships so high I cannot believe that anyone would really bring one to use in their room when there are laundry rooms available in several places on the ship to iron. Folding clothes can create creases and cruise cabins are not equipped with irons although they can be found in the ships laundry rooms.
